When the F80 was first revealed, opinions were split almost instantly. While many admired the performance and futuristic presence, one detail became the center of debates: the black stripe stretching across the front end quickly nicknamed by some enthusiasts as ‘’ the mustache .‘’

Now, a newly delivered F80 spotted in Monaco without that controversial black stripe has completely shifted the conversation.

Without the dark band across the nose, the F80 suddenly feels cleaner, wider, and far more elegant. The lines of the car become easier to appreciate, and the front end carries a more natural balance. What once felt visually heavy now looks refined and intentional.

It’s rare to see opinions change this quickly, but many people who were unsure about the F80 at launch are starting to reconsider. I’ll admit it — I’m one of them. In this specification, the car feels more timeless and more worthy of the Ferrari badge.

This may also be the beginning of a new trend. If other owners follow this route, the F80 could slowly evolve into one of Ferrari’s most misunderstood designs turned future icon.

Sometimes all it takes is removing one detail for the whole vision to make sense.

Until next time 😉
